Trip to Fujairah, UAE

As a part of its travel team activities DJTA is planning for a trip to Fujairah Tennis and Country Club in the UAE to conduct a tennis tournament with their players. The proposed trip will be held from February10, 2010 to February 13, 2010.

This trip is open to all DJTA players with acceptable level of tennis. The final eligibility and selection of players will be the responsibility of the head coach, Aziz Rasool.

The initial trip program will be as follows:

Wednesday, February 10, 2010 depart from Bahrain.

Thursday, February 11, 2010 Tournament play

Friday, February 12, 2010 Tournament play

Saturday, February 13, 2010 morning tournament play-depart for Bahrain at approximately 2:30 p.m.

For Airline arrangement: DJTA team will fly either with Dubai Air or Gulf Air. The airfare is approximately 600-900sr per person.

For Hotel accommodation: DJTA players and parents will stay at Coral residency at the cost of approximately 450 per single, 550sr per double and 600sr per triple occupancy. A 10% tax will also be charged.

For transportation: Transportation from Dubai airport to Fujairah will cost 100sr per person each way.

For coach and miscellaneous expenses to be determined once the number of players are finalized.

This trip can be cancelled at anytime due to unforeseen circumstances.

Coach Aziz will be accompanying the team but his responsibilities will be strictly limited to tennis related activities. Therefore, parents' presence is essential in order to assure adequate supervision for their child and to make this trip a success.

Bahrain Junior Festival

The DJTA is planning a Junior Festival with the Bahrain Tennis Club. This first time joint effort is being organized for Beginner Level players aged 5-10. This festival is to educate beginning level players the various aspects of the game of tennis. The program is as follows:

PLACE: Bahrain Tennis Club

DATE: February 18, 2010

TIME: 3:00-6:00 p.m.

This fun-filled afternoon is open to all DJTA players of beginners level aged 5-10. Please forward your response to Radmila Ghajar, radipg@gmail.com indicating your interest for participation for your child no later than February 6, 2010 by 2:00 p.m.

Coach Aziz is working closely with the Bahrain Tennis Club to organize an afternoon of fun tennis for DJTA players. Parental presence is a must throughout the event to ensure the safety of your child and to help make this a great afternoon for our young players.

Bahrain Travel Trip for Intermediate-Advanced Players

As part of its travel team activities DJTA is planning a trip to the Bahrain Tennis Club for intermediate to advanced level players. This trip is to conduct a Tennis Tournament with their players. The program is as follows:

TIME: 3:00-9:00 p.m.

PLACE: Bahrain Tennis Club

This trip is open to all DJTA players with acceptable level of tennis. The final eligibility and selection of players will be the responsibility of head coach Aziz Rasool.
